Basin evolution has experienced four stages of evolution included strong rift extended period , rapid settlement of fault, faulted the settlement period of stability, squeezing fold return period. The main structures are tensional fault block, pressure fault block, detachment-type structure and wrench fault group. From the deep to the shallow, the fault depression developed a rift alluvial fan - fan delta - volcanic rock, fan delta - braided river delta - shallow lake to the semi-deep lake, a rift alluvial fan -fan delta - foreshore shallow lake, and other types of deposition. source rocks of Zhanhe fault depression are Taoqihe group, source rocks of Jiayin fault depression are Yong Ancun group and Taoqihe group, there are a considerable volume of resources.
