Modeling and numerical solutions of flexible multibody dynamics are one of major contents. Mathematical model of flexible multibody dynamics includes two kinds of them.First is ordinary differential equation.Second is differential algebraic equations. With the development of first kind of equation, it has increased fastly. But numerical solution of second kind of equation has still been researched.this question is difficult to solve at present.In this paper, Based on the following passage, with the theory of flexible multibody dynamics, various numerical methods for dynamics of flexible multibody systems are discussed and then focus on the discussion of some correction algorithm of constraint violation of differential algebraicequations, the advantages and disadvantages, applied range of those methods are analyzed. A new method for constraint stabilization is presented.It is called correction algorithm of interative constraint violation.At each time step, the initial iterative values are evaluated by direct integral method of second-order equation, then new goup of iterative values are evaluated by center difference method and stabilization equation of constraint stabilization method with the former initial values. So a new group of correction values are valued by applying for the Newton-Raphson iterative formula and integrating control equation of multibody dynamics. It can meet the constraint and control equations of multibody systems simultaneously.Finally, with the results of one typical example, the effectiveness of new method is proved by the software Matlab6.5.
