Shihezi Formation and Taiyuan Formation have great exploration potential and a good t prospect of natural gas exploration and development in Shuangshan-Shenmu district, eastern part of Ordos basin.But the reservoirs of Shihezi Formation and Taiyuan Formation are low porosity and low permeability reservoir.they not only has low productivity, but also are particularly vulnerable to damage in all kinds of operations including drilling, completion, gas production and stimulation. To raise production capacity of Shihezi Formation and Taiyuan Formation, it is necessary to adopt all kinds of measures including acidification or fracturing and protect reservoir in the process of acidification.The reservoir feature is different and the reservoir potential damage, sensitivity feature and acid fluid system suitable for the reservoir are different. First, the reservoir feature is studied in the paper, and then the potential damage and sensitivity feature are analyzed and evaluated. Finally, on the base of above analysis and evaluations, the acid fluid system suitable for the reservoir is studied in the paper.We have some understandings of the reservoir feature and sensitivity feature by above studies. And on the base of evaluation of acidification effect, the acid fluid system suitable for the reservoir of Shihezi Formation and Taiyuan Formation is selected.
