Chaos control and synchronization have been intensively studied in recent years, and they have become a hot topic in the research field of chaos.The challenging research field has become a scientific inter-discipline involving many other fields,and have significant impact on many novel engineering applications.The thesis mainly focuses on the control of chaos and synchronization of hyperchaos of nonlinear system.The main content is depicted as follows:Firstly,in first two chapters,control and synchronization of chaos and hyperchaos in the research background and study conditions are introduced,and the basic theory of chaos dynamics is presented.In the third chapter,we primarily study the problem of two different hyperchaotic system.In the first part,based on the Lyapunov stability theory and adaptive control, we realize synchronization of between hyperchaotic L(u|¨) system and generalized Henon-Heiles by choosing the proper controllers and parameters.In the second part, we utilize nonlinear control and adaptive control to achieve synchronization of hyperchaotic chen system and generalized Lorenz system.And finally,numerical simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed hyperchaos control and synchronization schemes.The forth chapter discusses the control and synchronization of a new hyperchaotic system..First,we introduce a new hyperchaotic Lorenz system;and then, control and synchronizations between two identical hyperchaotic systems are achieved via the Lyapunov stability theory and adaptive control theory.Last,numerical simulations are given.
