With the regional population growth and economic development,the loss and degradation of the forest vegetation landscape has become a key factor of global environment problem.And as the study field of landscape research,the evolution of vegetation spatial pattern is one of the complicated resources and environment system,which involves the Ecology,Geology,Environment,Climate, Humanities and Social Sciences,etc.And there has been great convenience to dynamic simulation on quantitative landscape pattern research when more and more spatial information technologies such as Geographic information system and Remote Sensing are being used in landscape research.But the multi-agent system theory and method take one kind of emerging area of technology,which has provided the method that can divide and solve the complex problem,and solve huge,structure complex question which single agent cannot solve.GIS and RS coupled with the multi-agent technology used in the vegetation space pattern dynamic simulator is landscape pattern simulator research urgent need. Facing that there is no domestic multi-agent modeling platform,it choose the cross-platform and multi-element programmable modeling software-NetLogo which was developed by United States of Uri Wilensky.Northwestern University to realize vegetation space pattern simulator model based on multi-agent.The main research contents and results in this paper are as follows:(â…°) For the complex system of spatial pattern evolvement,this study analyzes and summarizes the complex character and discusses the basic method of the question.And a model frame of vegetation spatial pattern evolvement is developed on the base of multi-agent system.(â…±)NetLogo as an multi-agent modeling platform is studied with its function and character,also with its thought,frame and method.This study learned the key language of model and connected the geographic information system and NetLogo,which is the cross of GIS and mutli-agent model. (â…²)Object orient design and programming of NetLogo platform is used to develop the vegetation spatial pattern change model.Landsat TM5(May,29,1999) and DEM of Jiufeng forest park are as the basic data to develop a real-time account and visualization of spatial pattern based on multi-agent.Thus, the study provides a new way and method for vegetation spatial pattern change.
