| Chaos is one of important achievements in nonlinear science. With the further research of chaos, controlling chaos becomes an advanced research field. Chaos synchronization is chaos control in general, and it has become important content of controlling chaos. Because chaotic signal has characteristic of broad bandwidth and like-noise, chaos has potential application in secure communication system.In this dissertation, the development, rudimentary and relevant knowledge of chaos theory is introduced. The chaos synchronization is discussed. Then the progress on secure communication with chaos synchronization in the near last decade is surveyed. The main synchronization methods on secure communication applied are introduced. At last some problems of chaotic synchronization in secure communications are studied. The relationship between chaos and cryptography from the point of view of chaotic stream cipher is discussed in detail. And studies double chaotic pseudo-random bit sequence algorithm which is based on Logistic map, and how to valid digital chaotic secure wireless optical communication model according to TMS320VC5502 DSP character. Finally suggests the detail process that is based on TI Corporation's CMOS chip which source is human phoneme by DSP system and full analysis.
