The reservoir production of the lower member of ES3 in Bijia, Binnan Oilfield, which now have been at the stage of high water-cut, is declining heavily which was caused by the issues of rapid rising rate of water-cut, serious flooding, lower producing energy, scattered distribution of remaining oil. To achieve the effect of keep declining oil and control rising water-cut, it is necessity to carry out research on the the reservior geological characteristic and remaining oil.The reservior geological characteristic, distribution and development program on remaining oil are all studied in this article by the means of reservoir characterization, reservoir engineering analysis and numerical simulation with static and dynamic approach. Main results followed:The reservior geological characteristic which reflects the characteristic of strata development, sedimentation, reservoir bed and so on have been established, and it gives an important basis to distribution and adjustment of the remaining oil.Characteristic of filtration, the rule of water ratio raising, the efficiency of water injection, recoverable resources and development effect were studied and estimated synthetically by reservoir engineering method with comparison.. Comprehensively analyzing reservoir sedimentary microfacies, structure, interlayer distribution, dynamic production situation and the results of numerical simulation, the remaining oil have been evaluated quantitatively. With the foundation of the distribution of remaining oil, it points out the existing problem in the production, draw up the relevant countermeasure, schemes, three development programs and optimize the third one for implementation. The study raises the recovery ratio, also can provide a reference for the same type of oilfield.Compared with the base case, cumulative oil production of the development program optimized in Block S16 increases by 9.88×104t. Oil production rate increases by 0.28%. The level of water drive increases by 56.4%. The recovery ratio increases by 3.3%; Cumulative oil production of the development program optimized in Block B3-19 increases by 9.18×10~4t.Oil production rate increases by 0.23%. The level of water drive increases by 38.5%. The recovery ratio increases by 3%; Cumulative oil production of the development program optimized in all the field increases by 19.06×10~4t.Oil production rate increases by 0.25%. The level of water drive increases by 46.4%. The recovery ratio increases by 4.2%...
