After the development of nearly 20 years, the Wennan oil field South Wen79 Block has come to high water content late production stage. For further improving oil field development level, achieving stable and high producing ability, it is necessary to recognize the geological structure, micro-sedimentary facies, the space distribution of the reserve sand, the type of the reserve space and its continuity. For the adjustment plan of oilfield development and the aim of high production rate, it is also important to setting the geological model of the reservoir. So, in this paper, fine reservoir description study of the lower Es 2 member in South Wen79 Block has been applied. Structure model and attribute model of the lower Es 2 member reservoir which reflects South Wen79 Block reservoir characteristics is established.First of all, fine reservoir division and correlation of the lower Es 2 member in South Wen79 Block has been carried out by using the method of cycle-thickness correlation and isometry, divided them into 8 sand sets, 91 thin layers, and build up the fine stratigraphic framework. The fine structure research carried out on the basis of the achievement seismic interpretation. Structure model has been established based on both of them.Secondly, Sedimentary micro-facies of the main reservoir sands has been divided according to regional background, sedimentary rhythm, log facies. The results show that the sedimentary face of the lower Es 2 member reservoir sand in South Wen79 Block is delta front sediment, sequential indicator simulation was used to simulate sedimentary micro-facies, Also we have make a further division of the Sedimentary micro-facies of main oil sand body.Finally, logging data have been reinterpreted and reprocessed, and established the logging interpretation model using the relationship between core and logging response, porosity mode and permeability model has been simulated by using sequential Gauss simulation under the control of sedimentary. reservoir model has been simulated by using sequential indicator simulation according to classification of sedimentary microfacies and oil-water interpretation result. These models are used for research of the remind oi1distribution in reservoir engineering. Practice has proved that the findings of this paper will play an important directive role for the adjustment of development plan and further improvement of old field recovery efficiency of old oil field.
