Ebinur lake is located in the northeast corner of the Boertala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture,in westernmost territory of XingJiang.It is surrounded by mountains, the north-east is linked to Gurbantonggut, and the wind direction is in the next Alashankou Department. Because of Locating in the area of mid-latitudes of the Eurasian continent hinterland , far from the sea, the climate is very dry,and it belongs to a typical temperate continental arid climate.Itraria is also known as bubble spines ,and it is one kind of Nitraria .It is mainly distributed in the Gobi, piedmont plains and sand gravel quality surrounding Ebinur. It is protected from drought, salinity and sand burying. naturally, it is often existed in the form of shrubs, with fixing and resistanting sand utility obviously. Nitraria nebkhas are common types of aeolian landforms in Ebinur lake basin, wind, sand, Nitraria are the main factors affecting the development ofi sandpiles.Nitraria nebkhas development, evolution and characteristics and Nitraria bioecological characteristics play an unique role in attributing the process of sand landforms ,the evolution of regional environmental and land-cover change. In this paper, Nitraria nebkhas surrounding Ebinur lake in xinjiangthe is the main research object, use methods of sand geomorphology ,based on fieldwork and field measurements, use some testing way ,such as the sofeware of SPSS12.0, ARCGIS combines the experiment of grain size of the sand surface sediments and so on.we use these way to research the morphological characteristics, surface particle characteristics and spatial distribution pattern of Nitraria nebkhas surrounding Ebinur lake. I hope this study and other research results can be compared and supplemented, which has great significance in riching sand geomorphology of our content, prediction environment for the evolution of arid zone, desertification trend of development, to ensure that the oasis ecological security.Through research, access to basic conclusions as follows:(1) the average length of Nitraria nebkhas around Ebinur Lake is from 4.5to7metres ; and the short axis is between3-5.5 meters; the average height of the nebkhas is from 0.5 to 1 metres.the length of long axis and short axis of nebkhas ,upward and leeward slope-length have significant relativity, especially between the length of the long axis and the leeward slope-length, the length of the short axis and the upward slope-length, have good correlation ,the height of nebkhas and the short axis have the best correlation.(2) wind, sand and plants are major factors affecting the development of the Nitraria nebkhas. In addition, salinity, groundwater, topography undulating also affect their growth and morphology. In the shallow water table, when the terrain is higher, the role of desalination is significantly, the nebkhas development are better. When the terrain is lower, the phenomenon of salt accumulation significantly, they are restricted in the development of the sand to a certain extent.(3) There is a marked difference in space in the form of Nitraria nebkhas surrounding Ebinur lake and they are at different stages of development. By the influence of strong wind coupled with the shortage of sand source areas, showing a distinct form of streamlined, the nebkhas may be in a recession stage, the individual has become smaller in the development of wind erosion trends; the area where moisture, sand, wind areas are adequate, morphological mostly spheroidal, also part of a complex, nebkhas may be in a growth phase sand. (4) The surface of Nitraria nebkhas and sediments of ICo are mainly sand-based, followed by very fine sand and medium sand. Very coarse sand content of the nebkhas surface is at least, and ICo fine clay content is to a minimum.(5) the average particle size of Nitraria nebkhas from the windward slope to just over a hill gradually become course, leeward slope size has the trend of becoming smaller at first and than becoming bigger. at the top of nebkhas are the most coarse particles, the central particle of leeward slope are the smallest; the scope of nebkhas surface and ICo sorting coefficient changes is smaller, sub-selection is very good; skewness are all very negative side, the nebkhas skewness value appears in the windward slope, the minimum appears in the top Department; kurtosis are narrow sharp kurtosis, the maximum appears in the middle of the leeward slope.(6) the average particle size and sorting show significant linear negative correlation; the average particle size and skewness show significant linear negative correlation; but with kurtosis showing no significant linear positive correlation. Sorting and skewness showed no significant linear positive correlation; and with kurtosis showing almost no relevance. Skewness and kurtosis show significant linear negative correlation.(7)Spatial distribution pattern of Nitraria nebkhas surrounding Ebinur lake distributed randomly in the main. Affected by spatial scale, with different spatial scales, spatial pattern of Nitraria nebkhas has different distribution pattern, and it shows some uniform distribution in a small-scale.
