Ordos Basin is the second largest sedimentary basin in China.It is also one of the largest and earliest discovered,explored and developed hydrocarbon-bearing basins in China. Since late in 1980s, influenced by the strategic decision of stabilize east and accelerate the development of western part and its great potential of hydrocarbon. Ordos Basin's one of the most important oil and gas output place. The sixth reservoir unit of yanchang formation is the main hydrocarbon reservoir assemblage of Baibao oil field and has the key function of stimulate,so in view of this local reservoir appraisal and the forecast has the enormous significance.On the basis of core conventional analysis,core non-conventional analysis and lithofacies paleographic, according to long and short term base-level and the analysis of sedimentation cycle,the major layer chang63 is dibided into 3 sub-strarums. Dissecting this petroleum reservoir's lithology,sedimentary facies and reservoir nature,these studys indicate that silty and fine grain are the main lithoclasts, the main sandstone are quartzitic packsand and lithic arkose,the main detrital composition is feldspar and quartz, the main interstitial material is chlorite ,the main reserveoir space of the chang63 in this area is intergaranular pore and is slightly filled by nerwork clay. In this area the turbidite fan of delta front develop,and is divided into two subfacies of inner fan and middle fansubfacies and two microfacies of turbidite channel and turbidite thallus.By studying the relationship among lithology,electric,physical and hydrocarbon,the author establishes the reference standard of discrimination between oil and water ,the least effective net sand,the log interpretation model and formation water resistivity.Through those,the author is going the secondary fine interpretation under the geologic condition.And then, the author uses the basic parameter to study reservoir planimetric Characterization of this area. The result indicates that the planimetric characterization of porosity and permeability is mutually related with throughgoing characterization of microfacies and sand body,and the precipitation facie control the reservoir permeability.On the basis of cores and well log data, this area possesses middle to strong heterogeneity and the lithology of interbed are claystone,silty claystone and dirty fine siltstone.the width of the interbed is between several and dozens centimeters.At last, the reservoirs are classified and predicted prospecting advantageous regions under the analysis of reservoir controlling factor , single factors and the plan of reservoir basic parameters.
