Wannian mine of Fengfeng coalfield lies in the east foot of Taihang mountain, Gu mountain in the east and Ci mountain in the west.As the depth of exploitation increasing and bedding plane moving down,the condition is becoming more and more complex,and then the potential risk of mine safety increasing. Therefore,developing three-dimensional visual geology-modeling and forecasting the waterflow of the mine are the guarantee to the mine safety,and have importment theoretical and realistic significance to guiding water-control ang release mining resource.The previous geological work has accumulated abundent original data of seeking mine.How to effectively use these comparatively dishevelled data,combiningnowadays'computer technique,form three-dimensional geological model,analyze condition,and guide safety exploitation have become the crucial part of the mine informationization construction.The main work of this paper are as follows: (1)based on sufficiently collecting the previous data,analyzes and summarizes the basical geology of Wannian mine,the hydrological condition of this area,t he geology of the mine,the hydrological data,and the hydrological condition of the mine.(2)using GMS to form the three-dimensional visual geological model of Wannian mine.Mostly forms five layers:Quaternary,Permian,Carboniferous, Ordovician and Diorite.Through the forming,sectioning and rotating of the geological model,exhibiting the complex underground geological condition in the way of three-dimensional,and then the technical personnel and managers of geology can understand geological phenomenon and solve geological problems more objective and intuitionistic.The waterflow of the mine is the main basis of designing the drainage of the mine.(3)Through the formed geological model,we can directly see that Quaternary widly spread on the top of the mine foundation rock with different thickness;Permian has bigger thickness spread stably,and is the mainly exploitating layer;many thin layers spread in Carboniferous,and f our of them is stable,which are limestones;the limestone of Ordovician is the bottom;although the top of Diorite is waving,the main trend is high in the nort hwest and low in the southeast.(4)Base on forming the conceptual and digital model of hydrology,using GMS to simulate underground water digitally.Through identifying and validating the model,forecasting the waterflow of the mine.(5) Bring forward the anti-water measures of the mine:understanding the condition of geology and hydrology clearly;dredging and blocking aptly;increasing the in vestment,establishing the isolating anti-water system in different place and level, and strengthen the drainage of the mine.Giving the scientific basis to the const ruction of the mine.This paper uses GMS to forming the three-dimensional geological model of Wannian mine of Fengfeng coalfield,base on which,completes the forecasting of the waterflow of the mine,and then gives basis of water-control.
