Ground fissure and ground subsidence are the most serious geological disasters which seriously affect city construction and economic development of Xi'an.Since the beginning of the last century 50's,government departments have taken lots of money and manpower in monitoring study of ground fissures and ground subsidence,and have accumulated a large of data.How to manage and effectively use such data for scientific research in geological disasters and urban economic development has become an important task of research in ground fissure and ground subsidence.In this paper,the research goal is to establish ground fissure and ground subsidence in Xi'an spatial database,and integrate management of data of ground fissure and ground subsidence.In this paper,by use of spatial database design principles and methods,on the basis of collecting data of ground fissure and ground subsidence,first,spatial database model -E-R diagram were designed;secondly,in view of objected-oriented model Geodatabase,spatial database logic design of and physical design were implemented;finally,by using the data pre-processing and format conversion,the standardization and storage of data were implemented,and spatial database was established.In the process of the construction of spatial databases,the key technical issues involved and resolved were as follows:1.The digitization of multiple-scale maps and thematic maps were completed,the work of geometric correction,coordinates registration,vectorization,map symbols,appearance of raster map,delivery of the drawing and various types of storage was solved,and a complete set of mature workflow vector map and guidelines was summed up.2.Under the coordinates of the vector map amendment with the conversion in ArcGIS,the joint of vector map cases which the reference information coordinates was missing(such as the Weihe River Basin,90 vector map coverage format) was completed.3.Based on the repairing and improving the missing information of hydrogeological engineering geology for geothermal drilling and elevation coordinates,table structure of drilling information store was designed, the entry of geothermal drilling the X,Y coordinates,elevation value,location,lithologic information in a total of 970 engineering geology hydrogeology in Xi'an was completed,a borehole drilling Xi'an complete information based on the information table,information table, as well as lithology Chang'an University,Xi'an bored version of the map were forming.4. The focus was to patch and perfect data which was ground fissure,ground fissure profile, metro,monitoring site of ground fissures,borehole,geophysical prospecting,groundwater in order to complete format conversion and storage.5.Updating and optimization the original data in a database were realization...
