The Sigu tin deposit is situated in the southeast of three-river metallogenic belt in southwest China.The metallogenetic condition here is very good and it is one of the emphatic areas in prospecting for the W,Sn,Mo,Cu,Pb,Zn,Au,Ag deposit.The work is concentrated on deep stratum and outer of the mine enterprise,but the effect should not be good if we only depend on normal geological methods and regulations.So we must introduce new geological theories and methods.In this paper multi-information ore prospecting method gained by synthetic analyzing the remote sensing information,geological information and geochemical information is introduced and the symbol for ore prospecting has been set up.The main conclusions are summarized as follows:1.By studying the ore-exploring information extracting and synthetic processing technique of multi-information of geology such as geology,remote sensing and geochemical data,a set of multi-information techniques are formed.2.The research deals with primary halos of six elements including Sn,Cu,Pb,Zn,Ag and Mo.The primary halos are studied with analysis such as R-type cluster analysis,factor analysis.Traditional geochemical data processing method is adopted,we set the geochemical anomalous line(mean+n×standard deviation).The analysis result has proved that the anomaly agrees with the known orebodies.3.Based on the forming mechanism of remote sensing,spectral characters of the multispectral remote sensing data and spectral characters of the minerals,methods such as image enhancing,filtering,principal component analysis,classified by thresholds are adopted to extract alteration minerals.4.According to the characters of multivariate geological data,remote sensing, geochemical data and geological data are fused by methods such as false color compose, overlay remote sensing and geological data under conditional discriminanee,combination of the vector and raster data.After synthetic analyses of multi-information,we summarized the creating states and geological characters of the mineral this area.5.Through field validate included exploring tunnel and trenching,the veracity of the forecast and the dependability of the work methods are approved.
