Sedimentary Microfaces And Reservoir Characteristics Of Putaohua Reservoir In Nanshanwan Oilfield

This paper combined Geology, core analysis information, logging, mud logging and performance, under the theory guidness of sedimentology, tectonics, geophysical logging and development geology, studied every expects of Putaohua reservoir, includes how the small layer develops horizontally, what're the reservoir depositional microfaces in different parts, the reservoir quality, logging interpretation model, overlap of single sand, oil sand development, besides predicted the potencial area for remaining oil . Gave some suggestions to handle the problems during the performance in the past.The study results shows that Putaohua reservoir here in Nanshanwan field is coast of lake or shallow lake phase, cover beach barrier, sand barriers and mud barrier three microfacies, among the three microfacies , beach barrier and sand barrier are the main depositional types. Putaohua sand shows irregular shape result from depositional environment, change sharply horizontally.From Logging information, Putaohua reservoir shows low resistivity, this paper defined the reason of the low resistivity, and created a criteria and cutoff for the oil sand.Predicted remaining oil area and distribution, also pointed out the potencial area for remaining oil, base on combination of microfacies, micro tectonics, reservoir characters and oil sand distribution. Built up a foundation for making a good development plan, improving the performance to get a better development results.This paper deepen the study level of geology, at the same time, found out a way and ideas for studying the analog reservoirs.
