Based on the data of geology, geochemistry and geophysics, adopting modern hydrocarbon reservoir generation theories and methods, this paper gives a systematic research on oil reservoir geological features, source rock characteristics, oil and gas source, petroleum accumulation process and models. Based on the recovery of burial history and geothermal history in Neogene, the hydrocarbon generation of source rock is simulated, and it is concluded that super Es3 and lower Es1 source rocks have characteristics of late hydrocarbon generation: respectively generate low mature oil in the late of Ed epoch and early of Ng epoch. Based on detailed oil-source correlation, the relationship between mature source rock and Neogene oil reservoirs has been illustrated. Using fault growth index and fault fall, this paper quantitatively analyzes the activity of major faults. Based on this, combined with the time of hydrocarbon accumulation and reservoir distribution strata, the distribution of effective faults is confirmed which distributes in the west region of step-fault zone and Liubei region. By researching fault-plane shape, combined with dissection of typical oil reservoirs, the relationship between fault section dominant migrating channel and space distribution of oil reservoir is illustrated, meanwhile, favorable areas of Ng3 are predicted. The characteristics of interval transit time in mudstone and measured pressure indicate that it's overpressure in Shahejie formation, the dynamic of hydrocarbon expulsion is excessive pore pressure differences. The directions and pathways of oil migration have been illustrated through analyzing geochemical indexes. At last, four pool-forming models are established: central anticlinal zone vertical migration model with lower generation and upper storage; step-fault zone lateral migration model with far source; Liubei meshwork-carpet type model; buried hill transport model.
