Du229 block is the key exploration block to the ShuGuang oilfield, LiaoHe. Target strata oil layer of Xinglongtai belongs to the typical super heavy oil pool. With the further development of the oilfield, underground contradiction is increasingly outstanding, waterlogging area expands constantly. Water recovery ratio increases constantly, and the yield decline rapidly at last. Therefore, in order to guarantee the stable and high yield, it is necessary to carry out the fine reservoir geological research for Xinglongtai of Du229 block. On the basis of changes in sedimentary cycle, correlation of stratigraphic division was carried out and stratigraphy framework was established. In combination with static and dynamic information, reservoir characterization in the isochronal section of reservoir was detailed studied. The law of distribution, the internal structure of characteristics and controlling factors of development of sand bodies was comprehensively analyzed. Fault system and structural characteristics of the study area was re-understood, with a focus study on closeness of the faults and the relationship between it and water invasion. Using the multiple data of core, logging and production dynamic data, sedimentary characteristics of the study area were developed. In combination with the results of previous studies, diagenesis and physical properties of the reservoir characteristics was analyzed. Reservoir heterogeneity in plane, interlayer, in layer and in microscopy was described. The controlling factors of reservoir heterogeneity were developed and the main factor was sedimentation. The law of water intrusion and potential tapping of the study area was studied. The results of this study contained 4 respects: (1) the reservoir of Xingâ…¥group in the study area developed submarine fan gravity flow sediment. And near-source fan-delta with coarse fragment deposition was developed in Xingâ… ~ Xingâ…¤group, and further was divided into underwater distributary channel, inter-bank shoal, low-lying land and mouth bar microfacies. (2) The methods with Si ion content, water extraction method, as well as changes in water-oil ratio curve were used to identify water intrusion, water intrusion on the area described. (3) through water intrusion control study, the end of the water was the direct cause of water intrusion, and sedimentary was the geology factor cause of water intrusion, and the non-closeness of faults were the advantage to water intrusion. In the different periods of time, water intrusion had advantages and disadvantages to ultra-heavy oil reservoir. (4) the distribution law of remaining oil the water influx zone was summed up and corresponding potential tapping was proposed, providing a scientific and rational basis for the field of stable, high-yielding a solid foundation. The study area formed a fine geological study process of super-heavy oil reservoir, and set up research methods of the law of water intrusion and potential tapping in complicated geological conditions of super-heavy oil reservoir, which has great guiding significance to ultra-heavy oil reservoirs in Liaohe oil field and other areas having the similar oil.
