Expansive soil is a special clay soil,which has widely distributed in china.Along with the large scale construction of highway, it is important to study on the roadbed and slope problems in the districts of the expansive soil.The paper study about engineering of Weinan~Yangguo highway, engineering geological properties of Xipo landside of expansive soil is researched. Through all sorts of physical properties of experiment, the area of expansive soil physical properties is obtained,which has analyzed of expansive soil's component, structure and physical properties. Through Swell-shrink test, the properties of expansion and shrinkage are concluded. The level of expansion, free expansion ratio and expansion ratio's correlation is stronger.The level of expansion is higher, the expansion rate is bigger.Through the Dynamic triaxial test system of DDS-70, the dynamic characteristics of expansive soil were studied, the system when the expansive soil physical properties and the static stress initial state of the same place, the soil is moving loads by dynamic loads, the dynamic loads or more of the cycle times, the deformation of the vibration cycle, and the intensity of expansive soil with strong decay.According to the characteristics of expansive soil landslide, summarizes the expansive soil landslide main causes are the inherent genetic, environmental affect conditions and engineering activities. The mechanism of expansive soil slip is continuous damage in the sliding landslide formed and the soil shear strength in the process of decay. The expansive soil slope slide's the biggest difference lies in the slope and the sliding surface is straight to the sliding level, and has very shallow.Landslide stability's calculated parameters is very important to application. This paper analyses the inversion landslide stability coefficient K with changes in values, comprehensive experiments and numerical value and value of experience. Through the limit equilibrium method, the stability coefficient and thrust are calculated. It has simulated stress deformation stability of landslide in under the action of gravity. The comprehensive evaluation the expansive soil landslide stability in poorer, under rainfall may slip, shall take timely measures.
