Southern region is a heavy, porous sandstone reservoir complicated by the fault ,oil-bearing area is 18.7km2, geological reserves is 61.5 millions tons, recovery 27.6%. Because the area is located south of the Gudao main island, over the years, relative to other terms of the main zone, the basic geological study in this area is deficient. in the structural analysis, be affected by the earthquake, there is a lot of controversy,so a reasonable structural interpretation has not been reached, At the same time,the stratigraphic division and correlation, analysis of reservoir structure remains in a small layer level. All of these issues, together with complexity of the internal structure of fluvial reservoir, resulting many problems in the development of the area.The relationship between oil and water in some areas unclear, bringing about difficulties for Dynamic Analysis of injection-production .On the basis of improving the quality of seismic data , application of full three-dimensional technology and Coherence Cube Technology,and so on, completed the seismic data interpretation of the work area . Combined with work area drilling, logging data, dividing into fracture system, rationalizing the structure and pattern, re-implementation of the size of fault patterns and the distribution of characteristics of the work area, especially low-order fault; application of the wavelet sub-band of seismic data, acoustic logging curve re - structure, non-linear constrainedand and high-precision inversion, as well as the recognition,follow-up, explanation of the single sand- body to identify the interpretation of reservoir,Providing the undertaking of geological basic research for adjustment and development , further improve the effect of oil field development, enhanced oil recovery to maximize the economic benefits of oil field development.Based on the findings and the deployment of the proposed ,2006 -2008year, for the potential units of the Southern District ,to adjust and develop respectively , covering 1,579 tons of geological reserves, the deployment of 61 new wells, new production capacity 138,000 tons, to improve the development level of the Southern District.
