Based on the drilling data of two blocks of the study area, the thesis set up a database which is used to build a 3D model of the Quaternary in the study area with relevant modeling software, combining the results of cross-fault borehole, the main conclusions are as follows:Firstly, The study area was divided into two blocks with detailed stratigraphic division, the results show that the Quaternary of Beidaihe area is thick in the East and thin in the West, two deposition center of East and West is bounded by the Lianfeng Hill, from top to bottom the Quaternary is divided into two strata, corresponding to the Holocene and the upper Pleistocene, and there is a Holocene marine layer with shell in the north area; The Quaternary of Haigang area is gradually thickening from north to south, west to east, two deposition center of East and West is bounded by the Xinkai River, top to bottom the Quaternary is divided into two strata, corresponding to the Holocene and the upper Pleistocene and there is a Holocene marine layer with shell in the south area.Secondly, Using the geographic information system software--ArcGIS and the geographic data mapping software--Surfer to process the drilling data of the study area, establish the 3D geological models of Quaternary strata of the study area with 3DField-the geological modeling software, which are including 3D subsurface models of the two blocks.Thirdly, Analysis of 3D modeling visualization show that the Quaternary of Beidaihe area have great changes in the upper Pleistocene, showing the reverse of the strata' undulating situation at the two sides of the fault, which means the fracture displays obviously, but in the Holocene, it stabilized; the Quaternary of Haigang area have great changes both in the Holocene and the upper Pleistocene, especially in the Holocene, showing the reverse of the strata' undulating situation at the two sides of the fault, which means the fracture displays obviously.Fourthly, The analysis of two major faults : F2 mainly controls the formation of the depression and uplift of Haigang area before the Holocene, and extending to Shanhaiguan from South to North, East to West; F5, located in Beidaihe area, mainly controls the formation of the depression and uplift of Beidaihe area prior to the upper Pleistocene.
