Geological conditions is the primary factors to determine whether to use the boring technology for construction tunnel, Also is the main aspects which affect the efficiency of TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine, TBM)boring, For different geological conditions of rock (Rock strength, abrasion resistance of rock, rock structure of the degree and surface development etc.), the mode of TBM operation and construction parameters are very different selection. Therefore, it's necessary to understand and analysis the geological condition around the tunnel, then to guide the construction process of TBM.Computer-based 3D-geological modeling technology has became a superiority simulation tool to build a geological model, it's capable of analysis the dynamic process for Tunnel Boring Engineering (TBE) with three-dimensional visualization, also can intuitively grasp the overall appearance of works.Because the complexity and anisotropy of the stratigraphic structure, uniform fitting model can not deal with the various stratigraphic .This paper introduces the three-dimensional geological modeling technique and its research status, combined with the TBE, given the main types of three-dimensional geological modeling, classified the interpolation algorithms for data visualization. For the regional geology with complex stratigraphic structure, Discrete Smoothing Interpolation Based(DSI-Based) algorithm for three-dimensional geological modeling simplifies and effective the interpolation process, also can be used for non-continuous state of the interpolation. This method is applied to Shenyang Metro certain geological modeling, the simulation results show that three-dimensional geological model is reasonable, smooth and realistic.
