Huizhou underground oil storage caverns is located in renshan Town,Huidong County,Huizhou City of Guangdong Province in China,which is recently proposed the strategic petroleum repertory, its capacity for one of the most far such projects. This paper will take it for research object,which studies the quality classification of underground oil storage caverns engineering rock mass problems and so on.For underground oil storage caverns engineering,the engineering geological conditions is an important factor of operation and safety,quality evaluation of rock cavern more on the excavation and supporting cavity with guidance.Firstly, in combination with the engineering characteristics and engineering geological properties for choicing reasonable evaluation parameters;Secondly, applicating of the finite element numerical simulation software Plaxis 3D Tunnel to establish a 3D geological model for simulating the excavating, and analysising after the excavation for the surrounding rockmass deformation,stress analysis, etc. Summarizing regular pattern and putting forward the reasonable evaluation of regional segmentation.Application of traditional rock quality evaluation method of BQ and RMR methods to evaluate the quality of engineering rock mass, and carrying AHP to determine the weights of the extension evaluation method for surrounding rockmass quality evaluation results contrast analysis,in order to verify its practicability andunity.
