With the development of modern society, geological exploration-drilling is towards deep and deeper. In geological drilling, the auxiliary works, such as coring and tripping operation, takes about 70% of the drilling time, so the drilling is inefficient, Wire-line coring could solve this problem well, but the short life of bit limit its effect. The traditional method can prolong bit life, but it is limited, the long-matrix bit prolongs its life by increasing the length of matrix, which can substantially prolong the life of the bit.In order to verify the feasibility of renewable multi-water way bit, design graphite mould and manufacture a bit which has three layer of water way, the bottom layer of water way is in working and the other two is in hidden form. So that greatly increases the height of matrix, which is equivalent three ordinary diamonds bit, and whose life expectancy is three times long than the normal. In drilling project, the bottom layer of water way works and the others are renewable. As the first water way nearly wear out, the valve of the second layer of water way drops out or wears earlier, and makes the new water way, the drilling will go on.The laboratory experiment finds that this way is feasible. In the next generation, optimize the graphite mould, makes it more convenient to fix. According to the offset cone principle, design the bias water-way to improve the feasibility of graphite valve wear out, and change the mechanism of broken rock, which cuts rock by shear force, greatly increases the possibility of volume-broken rock. Long matrix impregnated diamond bit can more significantly improve the bit life than traditional way, and associate with those ways to prolong life. Long matrix bit can unity long life and high efficiency, one three-layer bit can equivalent three traditional bits, prolong its life by times, and don't replace bite for long time, can save assistant time, coupled with the Wire-line coring drilling, can substantial increase drilling efficiency can save time and costs in deep hole drilling, apply better services for the production and construction.
