GPS data processing is an important part of GPS research, it's a quite mature application at present in short-range, the software attached to receiver have been able to meet the needs of most users. But in the long-distance, large-scale fields, the software attached to receiver is far below standard on, In fact, these fields usually adopt high-precision processing software, such as Bernese, Gamit/Globk and GIPSY. However, it's too difficult to operate these high-precision data processing software for someone without a certain knowledge, there are three reasons lead to these software were difficult to used, Firstly, the software have not graphic user interface or the program interface is not friendly, the user don't know how to start it; Secondly, the high-precision processing software have lots of parameters, and it is complex to many people; Finally, the high-precision processing software usually run on Unix/Linux operation, users are not familiar with the operating system, Let alone the use of software. In this study, aiming at the development of GPS data processing software with high-precision, visual, easy to learn and easy to use, GPS data processing models were researched comprehensively and subtly. On the basis of theory, developed the Common GPS Office (short as CGO) based on Visual Studio 2005 environment. CGO integrated the high-precision kernel of Bernese, simplified a lot of parameter settings and operating steps, reduced the difficulties from several aspects, CGO provide some common GPS tools as subsidiary functions for easily using in data processing. The systemic test and contrast experiment results showed that CGO is accurate and high-precision in long-baseline processing.
