With the presentation of "Digital Mine" concept and the development of the Computer Simulation and Visualization Technology, The three-dimensional modeling technology of mineral deposit has been mature. The construction of Digital Mine is an effective approach to achieve scientific management and safety and high efficiency mining in mine enterprise.Combining closely the scientific research task "three-dimensional modeling visualization study in Xintianling tungsten mineral deposit", synthetically using theory of geostatistics and three-dimensional modeling technology, the three-dimensional modeling of the tungsten mineral deposit and the reserves visualization calculation based on software Surpac were researched in the paper. The main content of this paper are as follows:(1) Based on the processing and analysis of the original data in Xintianling Tungsten mine, the geological database had been established and the visualization of drill information had been realized.(2) Build 3D solid models of surface, faults, stratums, roadway engineering, cavities and ore-bodies using software Surpac and realize the deposit 3D visualization. The visualization of three-dimensional modeling can completely and accurately display the spatial relation of the surface and underground geological structure and related ore-rock information; and it can provide the basis for dynamic management of mineral deposit exploitation and production; further, it can provide the condition and method for engineering design based on the real three-dimensional space and can provide the foundations for the compilation of scientific production schedule program in mine.(3) Using the theory of geostatistics, the combinatorial analysis of the drill sample data was conducted. According to the statistic character of portfolio sample, the experimental variation function was fitted and cross-examination. Based on above mentioned, logical variation function and block model of ore body were established and the spatial distribution of valuable reserves of tungsten element in Tungsten deposits was analyzed.(4) Based on the built block model of mineral deposit and using the method of ordinary Kriging, the calculation of the grade and reserves were carried out.The built models and calculation results had been applied to resource assessment, mining plan, and so on, which improved the quality of mineral deposit resource mining and the management level.
