Accurate measurement of thin film laser damage threshold is the necessary conditions for studying resistance to optical components'laser damage. Film damage threshold is the key parameter of thin-film anti-Intense Laser. Accurate and efficient testing of laser damage threshold of thin films is a prerequisite for improving the ability of laser film anti-damage. In testing the process of film damage threshold, to achieve precise control of laser output parameters and make it stability is key.Laser damage mechanism damage characteristics and shape appearance of thin films are studied in this paper. Elements of the impact of laser damage threshold on the thin-film are summarized. In accordance with testing technical indicators, testing program of laser damage threshold for thin-film is set. Test system components of Laser damage threshold for thin-film are selected. According to the test system requirements, test control system software of laser damage threshold for thin-film is studied.The ND:YAG Q-pulsed laser is selected as the role of light source. The laser's operating performance, the relationship between operating voltage and output power, the relationship between the frequency and output voltage are studied through a series of experiments. According to the experimental results, the best work of the laser voltage and frequency are determined. Working performance of Programmable Attenuator System composed of stepper motors and attenuation tablets is studied. Relationship between the output energy and rotation angle within the scope of its work is studied. Optimum operating range of Programmable Attenuator System is determined. Sample adjuster and sample blessing frame are selected out. Its working performance is studied by the experiments. The completion of energy is demarcated with the energy detector. Discriminates of laser damage for thin film is studied by He-Ne light scattering method. The best He-Ne laser incident angle and distance are determined. The effective area of laser spot is studied by photographic paper Method. Algorithm of Zero chance of damage is studied in this paper. According to the test system requirements, test control system software of laser damage threshold for thin-film is studied. Overall control circuit is completed. Nd:YAG Q-pulse laser control system software is developed in the graphic editing software Lab VIEW Platform. Laser system's automatically control is realized. Parameters and hardware components charged of the laser control system are analyzed. The main functions and features of laser control system software are showed. Programmable attenuation system control software is designed. Automatically control of Programmable Attenuator System is achieved. According to sample mobile systems' charged with parameters and their hardware components, sample mobile control software is developed. The automatic control of sample is realized. According to the Law of algorithms on zero probability damage threshold testing, data-processing software is developed.Completed procedures include front-panel design, preparation of subroutines and main program. A graphical user interface has been created in front panel, so that it has a good human-machine interactive interface. Laser stepper motor controller and the serial communication between computers and various parameters of the controller setup program have been completed in subroutine. Control procedures throughout the modular ideas to realize, including manual and automatic operation to run the module control program module. Laser, attenuator, sample mobile station automatic control and automatic data processing have been realized.
