The research of Fine Reservoir Description focuses on the characterization of remaining oil distribution. It is an inter-discipline subject consisting of geology, geophysicology, reservoir engineering, numerical simulation technology and others. It carries out reservoir characteristics comprehensive research and analyzes development performance and water flooding effect. It predicts and demonstrates the oilfield development adjustment plan, optimizes production measures by establishing three-dimensional geological model and performs numerical simulation.In this research, we apply the methodology and theory of Fine Reservoir Description to study the area, Chang 1 Reservoir of Geng32 area in Jiyuan oil field, which has been exploited extensively since 2005 and exhibited un-even distribution of formation pressure, loss of single-well productivity, unbalance of well group injection-production, and low water flooding control degree.Geng 32 Area is low porosity, permeability and resistivity reservoir with heavy heterogeneity. Initial oil saturation is controlled by the reservoir boundary and structural. Parts of the reservoir with high initial water saturation dose not form effective edge and bottom water drive. The overall efficiency of water flooding is influenced by the well pattern, reservoir heterogeneity, fractures and other factors, and the efficiency and effectiveness have to be further improved. By the research of numerical simulation, a large area of high petroliferous area that is not controlled by water flooding in layers is discovered. Its main control factor is the existing well network, the perforation degree of oil and water wells and so on. Therefore, three measures are proposed:oil and water well perforation adding to improve internal flooding pattern, oil well approach effect, adjusting well group injection-production ratio and producing pressure drop rationally. These three measures can achieve stabilizing oil production and controlling water cut, improving water flooding control and recovery degree.
