Study On The Spatial Distribution Characteristic Of The Historical And Cultural Sites Based On GIS

Historical and cultural sites are ancient human production and living places of worship left behind or remains, It's an On the important role in the study of ancient human social life and the development of civilization. As the market economy develops, people's demands on the spiritual are increasing, the more and more in-depth exploration of history, from the spatial distribution of historical and cultural sites to study the ancient civilized development of human society has become an important topic.The GIS method is more and more widely used in recent years, GIS spatial analysis methods for space research provides a powerful data-processing tools and information analysis tools, which facilitate the combination of qualitative analysis of spatial and quantitative research. This paper analyzes the spatial distribution of historical and cultural sites at home and abroad on the basis of the status quo, using GIS technology to study of the historical and cultural sites' characteristics of spatial distribution and evolution from the Neolithic to the modern historical in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, It's a research of the GIS technology which is used to study the spatial distribution of historical and cultural sites, it also found some of the spatial distribution characteristics of historical and cultural sites in Yulin City, it has an important reference value on the study of ancient sites.Through comparing the spatial distribution of historical and cultural sites during the different periods, explore their characteristics of spatial distribution and evolution and give rise to these changes in relevant factors.After the terrain analysis, we found the spatial distribution of ancient sites'elevation, slope aspect and slope has a certain curve phenomenon in different periods, so the distribution of ancient sites have a certain topographical features; Secondly, through the points and lines analysis,we found the distance from the ancient ruins to the river are in a control range, so the ancient sites are distributed along the linear-shaped features; finally through the aggregation analyze, we found that the ancient sites are not uniform distribution, the spatial distribution of the site has some clustering. From the different feature of these sites'distribution we can discuss the relationship between ancient human society development and the surrounding environment evolution.This paper discusses the GIS methods of ancient ruins study, found that ancient ruins has a certain degree of spatial and temporal distribution and evolution characteristics, provided a means of GIS technology in the research of ancient sites, which is an important reference and reference value in the study ancient sites spatial distribution.
