The Huangshaping Polymetallic Deposit in Guiyang of Hunan Province is one of the representative deposits in Southern Hunan. It's also an important lead-zinc production base of China which rich silver, copper, iron, tungsten, tin, molybdenum, bismuth resources. Through field investigation and sampling laboratory chemical analysis, optical microscope observation, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction and other means, this thesis determined ore industrial types, chemical composition, mineral composition, texture, structure, and processing mineralogy characteristics of tungsten, tin, molybdenum, bismuth ores. The works indicate that local ore minerals mainly are scheelite, native bismuth, bismuthinite, molybdenite, pyrite, and magnetite. Gangue minerals mainly are andradite, hedenbergite, diopside, fluorite, calcite, wollastonite, etc. The tungsten molybdenum bismuth in ores tends to concentrate in fine fraction. For size fraction 200 mesh the occupation of Tungsten, molybdenum and bismuth is respectively 54%,57%,80%. In the condition of that grinding ore fineness in the level of-200 mesh hold 75%, the single liberation degree (also ideal recovery rate) is respectively 78%,78%,74%. It is concluded that the tungsten molybdenum and bismuth in the south of this deposit, have wide prospects for comprehensive utilization. Cassiterite as an independent tin mineral is rarely seen in the ores and closely linked to magnetite in the microsphere form with great difficulty to be separated, and thus, has poor potential for comprehensive utilization.
