High density resistivity survey in the field of engineering has been more widely used, and with its own characteristics it has achieved good results, in many ways reflects the superiority of conventional electrical. High density resistivity method has a variety of devices, each device has its own characteristics, the situation is different for different devices, in the actual work, must to select the most appropriate device under different circumstances.According to previous experience and many of the experiments, the author found in high density resistivity method the best device is Wenner and dipole, under normal circumstances, the two devices can completely replace a variety of other devices, so this study of these two devices is very significant.The article focuses on high-density resistivity method data collection and the problem of field laid phase, Including pre-test data collection phase, circuit connection, select the survey area, the selection of polar distance, electrode layout, and then Instruction the high density resistivity basic flow of data processing in a relatively brief, Then on all aspects of data processing were more detailed, which consist of removing dead pixel, data stitching, terrain correction, parameter setting, forward, inversion, etc., and data processing details. Then in order to study the two devices to reflect the characteristics of different geological situations, so this article to study the mechanism theory of high density resistivity method, which is calculated using the known model to forward, inversion, and thus infer unknown geoelectric section, explore and practice consistent with the laboratory simulation of geological conditions. Through high-density resistivity method in the two typical devices (Wenner, dipole) geological model under a variety of common indoor simulation experiments of comparison, a detailed analysis of the testing of two devices in different geological situations inversion image and two different devices to compare the results of chart analysis, the department parameter results are summarized advantages and disadvantages of two types of devices, and it obtained reliable basis for inversion interpretation in the practical application of high-density electrical method.
