At the moment, with the increase of the difficulty on the exploratory and the large pressure on increasing potential production, seeking concealed unconventional is the important task of oil and gas field exploration and development. The low electrical resistance reservoir is one of the important objects. Lots of low resistance reservoirs with complicated geological conditions have been found in the east of Daqing oilfield. The coexistence with the high resistance water layer caused to the large difficulty on the analysis and evaluation and the low recognition of oil and water. The requirement on the development with high efficiency in the oilfield could not be satisfied and the effect of the employment and development in the oilfield was influenced.In this paper, Aimed to the actual productive condition, the display features and genetic mechanism of low resistance reservoir were generalized and studied on the Putaohua low resistant reservoirs in the east of Daqing oilfield. Through analyzing the data about the grain size, heavy mineral, mercury penetration, X-diffraction, clay minerals and formation water, the genetic mechanism of low resistance was found out. A set of method and technology was established in order to recognize and evaluate. The low resistance reservoir was recognized and evaluated using kinds of methods. The foundation on the evaluation was established and the explanation coincidence rate on well logging was improved. The research on the plane distribution regular in the low resistance reservoir in the typical block was carried out and the optimization on beneficial blocks was developed. it is necessary to develop research on the mechanism about low resistance oil field and seek feasible method to evaluate the low resistance oil field, which can improve oil-water identification rate and the development effect.Owing to the complicated genesis, great concealment and difficult identification, the work which study the low resistance genetic mechanism and the evaluation can excavate reservoir potential uttermost, increase the exploit and develop on the peripheral oilfields. It has important significance for increasing the potential production in the block.
