The Lithosiinae belongs to Lepidoptera, Noctuoidea, Arctiidae, and the subfamily is the largest group in Arctiidae. The present paper deals with the systematic study on the Lithosiinae from Northeast China.The paper comprised three parts. In part one, the general situation of the systematic study of the subfamily in the world, characteristics and the materials and methords are introduced. In the second part,12 genera and 26 species of Lithosiinae from Northeast China were identified, including 5 new species:Pelosia subnoctis sp. nov., Eilema clfangi sp. nov., Eilema subaffineola sp. nov., Eilema dongbeiensis sp. nov., Eilema laoyelingensis sp. nov.; 1 new record species from China:Stigmatophora leacrita Swinhoe; 1 new record genera from Northeast:Asura Walker; 2 new record species from Northeast:Eilema lutarella Linnaeus, Asura unipuncta megala Hampson; 9 new record species from Liaoning:Cyana sanguinea Bremer et Grey, Stigmatophora rhodophila Walker, Miltochrista orientalis Daniel, Miltochrista aberrans Butler, Miltochrista striata Bremer et Grey, Miltochrista pulchra Butler, Macrobrochis staudingeri Alpheraky, Parasiccia altaica Lederer, Nudina artaxidia Butler; 1 new record species from Heilongjiang:Macrobrochis staudingeri Alpheraky.
