On the background of projectile penetrating multi-layer composite medium fortifications, this paperstudied multi-layer composite media penetration testing techniques, developed a high impact resistantability Missile test system, and conducted live-fire tests, the test data was processed.First, this paper analyzed the characteristics of typical composite medium hard targets, according tothe structural characteristics of various types of hard targets, hard targets were divided into two types offinite thickness targets and semi-infinite target, while analyzed the penetration process of single and multilayertarget, and studied the dynamics process of projectile penetration, the acceleration signal of thepenetration has process wide frequency, short duration, the high peak.Secondly, according to the characteristics and special requirements of high impact penetration processand combined with the storage test theory, this paper proposed high impact missile test system designprogram, gave schematic and workflow diagram of high impact missile test system, presented functions ofcircuit module and key technologies of high impact missile test system, and achieved every target of highimpact missile test system.In the multi-layer composite medium penetration testing process, the high impact missile testinstrument several times withstand the impact overload more than 105g, combined shock isolation theoryand properties of the rubber materials, and rational designed the rubber buffer with a structure confined forabsorption or dissipation of impact energy of high impact missile test circuit module in the process ofmulti-layer composite medium penetration, in order to missile test circuit module can get protection in thecourse of several high-impact. By LS-DYNA simulation and laboratory tests of air guns, rubber absorberspecial designed (gum, tear resistance, hardness) and confined, reduced the shock overload effect from 5-60000g (after filtering) down to about 38000g. The results show a good buffering effect.Through the simulation of finite element software LS-DYNA, the process of high-speedprojectile penetration plate, got the acceleration time history curves, Von-mises stress map andthe deformation maps at different time projectile and target plate and so on. The tests of projectile penetrating steel plate, sand box test composite medium and penetrating bombpenetrating concrete target drug overload had been conducted, the simulation results can guidethe processing of experimental data and determine the choice of filter cutoff frequency, andget the filtered acceleration, velocity, penetration depth and other parameters.Due to this topic is still need to do further research, summed up the innovation andshortcomings of this paper and put forward the following work that need to be perfected andimproved.
