After learning lots of reference and data, there is a conclution that the texture of the researching area is very complex, and the prophase study on reservoir is so limited to local area and formation that it lacks comprehensive and systematical research. So the paper studied the reservoir with 10 Paleogene three-order sequence in the North-central of Raoyang Sag to provide basis for further exploration and formulation of development scheme.On the basis of sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy and geology of oilfield development, making full use of seismic date, core material indoor, well logging information and its digital process outcome and so on, the article analyzed the tectonic background of the study area, so as to divide and compare strata and establish the sequence stratigraphic framework, and then to analyze the sedimentary systems with units of the three-order sequence. Based on the research about tectonic, sedimentation and sequence stratigraphy and combined with large amounts of ordinary rock slices, casting slices, photos of microscope scanning electron and appraisal report ,the paper studied the lithologic and physical property characteristics systematically, and concluded that the maturity of composition and structure of reservoir sandstone of the researching area are low and the physical property is not so good mainly containing reservoir with low porosity and low permeability, reservoir of moderate porosity and low permeability and of moderate porosity and moderate permeability. Furthermore, the article studied the forming types of reservoir and its features, the gross thickness of sandstone and sand factor, and then summed up the rules of the gross thickness of sandstone and sand factor on 10 (Ek-Ed1)three-order sequences, and then discussed the types of diagenesis, division of diagenetic stages and diagenesis phases comprehensively to conclude that the early diagenetic stage B and middle diagenetic stage A which are primary and secondary porosity stage respectively are in correspondence with Ed2-Ed3 and Es1-Es3, and the reservoir grows well and its accumulating property is good. Ultimately, on the basis of reservoir property, pore structure types, sandstone amounts, genesis types of sand bodies and diagenesis phase spread and so on, the paper established the comprehensive evaluation standard of reservoir ,and evaluated reservoirs of different formations comprehensively, and then based on the reservoir evaluation predicted the beneficial zone with structure, sedimentation characteristics and oil production data , and finally summarized that Es3上,Es2,Es1,Ed3 and Ed2 are the key formations in the researching area.
