Earthquake intensity shows the impact of a earthquake in a special place. Usually it includes the human feels, the construction damage and the geological changes. Earthquake intensity is a index of earthquake disaster, and also a index to play a role in earthquake engineering.Seismic intensity attenuation for north China and south China is fitted by historical earthquake data in these region. Compared with the past model, the model shows that north china has a low seismic intensity attenuation, and relative high intensities generated by relative small earthquakes in south China.Earthquake pregnant tectonic systems are too complicated to measure, so we know less about the start of the earthquake rupture, and it is also hard to get a breakthrough in Short-impending prediction. In contemporory society, developed coutries such as America and Japan focuse on earthquake protection of buildings and structures, and earthquake emergent research.Rapid prediction of earthquake hazard is one of the topics. With the data of seismic waves, it gives the elements of earhquakes rapidly, such as the origin time, energy, distributional characteristics of disasters, so it contributes to earthquake relief work. Shakemap is a tool to describe the distribution of ground motions, and it reveals the hazard distribution. In this article we study the ground motion prediction, construction of shakemap, and the uncertainties.
