East China Sea is a large marginal sea in eastern China, had complex continental shelf basin, special sedimentary composition and the West Pacific continental margin typical trench-arc-basin structural system.East China Sea also had lots of problems about the geology and environmental resources.Meanwhile, It is a focus of attention that the mineral resources of the East China Sea shelf basin.Since the 1990s, the survey in the East China Sea became deeper and deeper, the new research results constantly emerged, found a wealth of new geological phenomenas and accumulated a wealth of geological datas. Therefore, it is necessary to study geology of the East China Sea again base on the new basic datas and scientific problems with the result that achieving the new breakthrough. We have completed the study including distribution and parameter on the fault structure in East China Sea Shelf Basin base on gravity and magnetic anomaly processing with some technology, analyzed the previous studies and combined with the local geology. The major work and conclusions of present paper are as follows:Firstly, The fundamental maps about the East China Sea Shelf Basin have been required by processing the gravity anomaly from satellite altimetry and the aeromagnetic anomaly. These maps have been used research the area of the East China Sea Shelf Basin again.Secondly, The distribution and mutual relation of fractures have also been required by computing first vertical derivative and NVDR_THDR with satellite altimetry gravity anomaly data the bouguer anomaly data and magnetic anomaly data, The depth of fractures have also been required by inversion based on gravity anomaly data and magnetic anomaly data. It is help to understand the fault structure.Thirdly, the fault system was divided into three levels including seven 1 st-order fractures, thirteen 2st-order fractures and many 3st-order fractures. Both 1st-order and 2st-order fractures are described in detail about the distribution and relationship.According to the research, We considered that the directions include NNE, NE, NWW and NW-trending fractures and the features of structural pattern in the East China Sea shelf basin is "North Block and South Block, East Zonation and West Zonation".Finally, according to the analysis and conversion, We considered that NW-trending faults began to affect the shelf basin evolution in embryonic time of the East China Sea shelf basin, then activity decreased, but the NW-trending fault of basement relived in the Cenozoic Era, and affected the sedimentation of the shelf basin in the Cenozoic Era leading to actually features.the features of structural pattern in the East China Sea shelf basin is "North Block and South Block,East Zonation and West Zonation"..
