With the development of economic globalization, the modern logistics industry, "the third profit source", has world-widely risen. It has been an important hot spot and the new economic growth in current global economic development after decades. In the development process of modern logistics, with the development of supply chain complexity and outsourcing expansion, third-party logistics has become an important organization form of modern logistics. In China, the third-party logistics starts relatively late, most third-party logistics enterprises are still in the early stages of development. In this situation, to establish an effective and operational third-party logistics enterprise performance evaluation system will help companies improve their management level, and promote third-party logistics enterprises'development. This paper does an exploratory study about this issue.This paper first describes the background, purpose and meaning of this study, introduces the contents and methods, and puts forward the research process and ideas. Then, it reviews the literature about third-party logistics and performance evaluation. On this basis, this paper proposes a third-party logistics enterprise performance evaluation system. Firstly, it introduces the principles of third-party logistics enterprise performance evaluation. Secondly, it introduces several methods commonly used in building performance evaluation, which has been judged and selected. And a suitable method has been chosen for this paper, which is the combination of BSC and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Finally, it gives the detail factors of third-party logistics enterprises performance evaluation. After that, it selects two third-party logistics companies A and B, and their performance evaluation are comparatively analyzed and discussed. At last, it puts forward the promotion strategy of the third-party logistics enterprises performance evaluation designed.This study belongs to an exploratory research, it starts from theoretical study, and combines with case studies. The conclusion has some referential significance to the third-party logistics enterprises performance evaluation in China.
