Various structural phenomena can be observed in the long-term evolution of XiangFan-GuangJi fault, which haa recorded the rich information about the subduction and collision of the QinLing micro-continental blocks and the Yangtze plate.This paper summarizes the construction of rock composition of JingShan and ShuiZhou, which are respectively transitional substrate combination, combination of Tableland -Tableland margin, combination of Tableland- rift edge and combination of foreland basin from the new stratum to the old. At the same time, we can recognized that the area studied has experienced a long-term tectonic deformation evolution from Yangtze period to the Indosinian, and that the formation of foreland basin of the Himalayan transformed by several tectonic deformations made contribution to the present tectonic pattern.Research area has the feature of zonation from the Northeast to the Southwest. It can be divided into foreland thrust belt of ShuiZhou, foreland fault-fold belt of DaHong mountain, foreland basin of JingShan according to the differences in the tectonic deformation and the tectonic environment; In addition the structural layer of research area can be divided into the Yangtze structural layer, Indo-structural layer, late- Yangtze structural layer and the structural layer of the continental margin, which stand for a tectonic cycle according to the feature of the tectonic evolution. Folds and faults comformed by the subduction and collision of the QinLing micro-continental blocks and the Yangtze plate in the Indosinian formed a structural track.The paper resolved the deformation, metamorphic structures, and the formation process of the fault zone by the methods of studing the regional structural geology combined with field survey data and experiments on microstructure deformation and deformation geometry characteristics of ShouZhou and JingShan. Besides,the paper prove that the main structural features of the research area is regular declining Thrust from the Northeast to the Southwest, since the deformation of the multi-phase and multi-level superposition, and the rock deformation was strengthening close to fault zone.
