Q108 block lies in southern part of west slope of Liaohe west sag, and the Lianhua oil-bearing layer of member 3 of Shahejie formation is the target developing stratum, which is a classic interlayered heavy oil reservoir with edge water. Lianhua oil-bearing layer has been developed effectively in the past 20 years, but with relative low recovery ratio. To this end, the research is carried out to improve the ultimate recovery in this block.Reservoir description and redevelopment are the major research contents in this article. Specifically, sedimentary microfacies research controlled by single well face study and logging face study is the leading method by using sedimentary and seismic interpretation technology on the basis of coring, drilling and seismic. Residual oil distribution feature and water flooding rule are analyzed based on primary development history evaluation, and the horizontal well application possibility and development style changing potential are evaluated, finally put forward the technical feasibility of changing the development style at appropriate position and partially implementing horizontal wells.The research shows that tectonic pattern of Q108 block is relative simple, generally developed the fault-anticline structure pitching to outside directions under the background of sloping, with 7 secondary stage blocks divided by 10 faults. Generally, reservoir sand strip distributed from west-north direction to east-south direction, the source area is from the west-north direction. Several sets of oil-water system are developed with edge water, bottom water, and partially existing interlayered water, which shows the complicated oil-water relationship. Oil-bearing layer distribution is major controlled by structure, is the thin-medium interlayered lithology structure reservoir with edge water and bottom water. Water-flooding situation is quite complicated, controlled by edge water incursion and fault water incursion apart from a small quantity of channeling outside of the casing, and the edge water incursion area stays inside of the edge water line. It is analyzed that steam flooding and hot water drive are the two major developing methods, and LianI,II,III are fit for steam flooding, LianIV is adapt for hot water drive.For the similar reservoirs, the research in this article could supply the technical foundation for the reservoir simulation, redevelopment style selection, well pattern adjustment and well style optimization.
