The Paper takes Bellamya aeruginosa along the middle and lower basins of Hanjiang River as our object of study. We study the heavy metal's concentration and space-tine distribution of Cu,Zn,Pb,Cd,Hg,As in Bellamya aeruginosa mainly. And the difference between the content of heavy metal in the tissue and shell of the Bellamya aeruginosa. We analyse the correlation coefficient between the coneentration of heavy metal in Bellamya aeruginosa and soil. Thus it provide the basis on the Bellamya aeruginosa as a biomonitor of soil heavy metal pollution in the middle and lower basins of Hanjiang River, The primary content as follows.1. The heavy metals of soil and water in the middle and lower basins of Hanjiang River is similar, (Zn>Pb>Cu>As>Cd>Hg), and the order of the RI degree is HK(han kou)>SY(sha yang)>XF(xiang fan)>XT(xian tao)>QJ(qian jiang)> LHK(lao hekou).2. We find that in different season, the accumulation of heavy metals expression obvious difference. Compared with autumn, winter and summer, the concentration is autumn>summer>winter.3. The heavy metals content in the Bellamya aeruginosa presents clear difference, and there is a remarkably relationship between the concentration of Cu and Zn.4. In order to decide the accumulation of heavy metal in the middle and lower basins of Hanjiang River. We employ index of (MPI), the outcome is QJ(qian jiang)>SY(sha yang)>HK(han kou)>XF(xiang fan)>XT(xian tao)> LHK(lao hekou).5. The tissue of Bellamya aeruginosa concentrate the greater part of heavy metals, and the accumulation of Zn,Pb,Cd,As in the tissue and shell display a close relationship.6. The ability of heavy metal accumulation of the Bellamya aeruginosa is Zn>Cu>Hg>Cd>Pb=As.7. We research the heavy metals of shellfish in other water, we discover that the accumulation of heavy metal in the middle and lower basins of Hanjiang River located medium level. 8. There is a evident relationship between the accumulation of Zn and Cd in the soil and parenchyma, so we can apply Bellamya aeruginosa as a biomonitor to monitor heavy metal pollution of the middle and lower basins of Hanjiang River.
