The article Illustrates the significance of research on the key technologies of high-speed machine tool spindle system basing on the high-speed processing technology and the domestic and international development of spindle technology. It adopts mechanical design Manual V3.0 software and designs the main parameters of spindle in the form of magnetic bearing supported to solve such technical issues as the shaft, spindle motor design, the form of magnetic bearings supporting spindle and lubrication cooling system.It analyzes the static characteristics of spindle through the force analysis and rigidity spindle system calculation model by ANSYS 10.0 software.It also discusses the dynamic characteristics of the electric spindle through the analysis of spindle modal and harmonic response characteristics. It analyzes the important parts of spindle through thermal analysis and thermal - mechanical coupling analysis, providing basises for cooling technology. Through the research on the key technologies of high-speed machine tool spindle system, it can meet the requirements of designing high speed machining spindle system.Specific study as follows:a,It designs and checks the major axis parameters, researches the spindle motor, magnetic bearing design support system, selects the spindle motor and the form of magnetic bearing control system through the mechanical design manual V3.0 software, thus complete the detailed design of the main parameters.b,It analyzes the static magnetic spindle stiffness, modal and harmonic response characteristics through finite element analysis by Ansys10.0 software. And analyzes the key positions of high speed spindle under the maximum dynamic displacement that occurred . And analyzes the critical speed of spindle system, verify the rationality of the high-speed spindle structural design. It analyzes the important parts of spindle through thermal analysis and thermal - mechanical coupling analysis, providing basises for cooling technology.c,It discusses the high-speed spindle lubrication, cooling, sealing through the thermal analysis theory to complete the entire research system of high-speed machine tool.
