The purpose of this paper is that, to find more suitable oxidant to treat acrylic fiber wastewater by oxidation technology and the optimum operating parameter. The oxidant selection, the oxidative experiment conditions analysis and the degradation echanism studies was done in this paper. The quality of wastewater was determined as the kinds of toxic, hazardous and biodegradable waste water by test analysis. There is great necessity to improve its biodegradability by certain ways and means. The test water is the actual acrylic fiber wastewater. The Fenton oxidation treatment was selected as treatment technology for the wastewater by the the oxidant selection experiments ,which was carried on in the beaker. The dosage of Hydrogen Peroxide and ferrous ion,pH and reaction time were showed to be the main influencing factors to the experiment by single factor test ,and the optimum condition was determined by orthogonal experiment as following: the concentration of Hydrogen Peroxide and ferrous ion are respectively 0.2mol·L-1 and 28.8mmo1·L-1,pH=3.0 and the reaction time is150 min.The relationship between the ?OH generation and H2O2, Fe2+ and pH was studied by the dynamic small scale tests, which is on the basis of the results of static tests, and the effects of removal efficiency of each factor to acrylic fiber polymerization wastewater was explained excellently. The main pollutant. was analyzed by GC-MS.The balance of the biodegradability, removal efficiency and the cost is just the the optimum condition, which is obtained by a series of test for optimal operation of wastewater treatment. Then, the cost of the technology was calculated, and a comprehensive analysis was done on the basis of the cost calculation to provide the technical support for the Fenton treatment technology research and engineering practical using in the acrylic fiber wastewater treatment.A very good explanation of each factor on the Fenton reaction of acrylic polymer waste degradation of relationships.
