| The hydraulic oil and oil-film bearing oil as industrial lubricants tend to intermingle with water easily due to specific work environment. The oil with water has poor performance to the disadvantage of operation and safe production. Adding demulsifier to lubricants is an effective method to inhibit forming emulsion. In this paper, the domestic and overseas development status, structures of demulsifiers and mechanism of demulsification have been reviewed. After testing the watershedding property and compatibility of some crude demulsifiers in the hydraulic oil, demulsifier C and demulsifier A were chosen to modify their structures. Based on detailed analysis of demulsifier C molecular structure, two-step modification was chosen to synthesize polymerization type demulsifier. For esterification process for demulsifier C and maleic anhydride, feed-maleic-anhydride ratios, temperature and reaction time were investigated. Proper technical parameter was determined. Polymerization type demulsifier was synthesized by purified ester and styrene with initiator. The influences of the initiator, temperature, time, the raw materials ratio and feeding way on the copolymerisation were investigated. Demulsifer obtained in the optimum process conditions was better than other in watershedding property and compatibility in hydraulic oil. It can also improve watershedding property of the oil-film bearing oil. The investigation for the esterification parameters of modifying demulsifier A with oleic acid, succinic anhydride and different alkyl stearic acid shows that the compatibility of the modified products has improved a lot. |
