A simple supported TiCl4/MgCl2 Z-N catalyst was prepared by the reaction of MgCl2.nROH adduct with TiCl4 and PE was synthesized by the ethylene slurry polymerization using the catalyst and TEA as co-catalyst.Effect of different solvents and other factors on Ti% in catalyst and polymer properties was studied. The best Al/Ti was 200 in the research that it could remove impurites and not reduce the polymerizational activity at the meantime in ethylene slurry polymerization using different catalyst system.The conclusion was obtained that the polymerizational activity was 625.75gPE/ gCat.30min (515KgPE/molTi.h),Mw of the polymer was 139000,Ti% in the catalyst was 10.7% when ethylene polymerized under the conditions that T=45℃,Al/Ti=200,t=30min with 50mL hexane and 2mol/L AlEt3 as co-catalyst.The best conditions to prepare the catalyst used in the polymerizaiton were that (i-Bu)OH:Mg=2.25mol, the modifying time was 1.5h,ROH modifying and TiCl4 treating tempretrue was 70℃,TiCl4:Mg=6mol,the dropping tempreture of TiCl4 5℃and Ti accessing time (2h+0.5h+0.5) happened with hexene as dispering solvent(60mL/2gMgCl2).
