Carbon monoxide (CO) is one of the main gaseous pollutants, which is generally produced and released from the combustion process of fossil fuel. Many catalysts have been designed and tested for CO oxidation under low temperature. In the case of the complexation–combustion method, both the pH value (1,4,7,9,11) in the precursor solution and the ratio of Co/Ce showed strong influence on the catalytic activity in CO oxidation.A series of CoOx/CeO2 catalysts prepared by Co-precipitation using different concentration of KOH, The sample prepared in the lowest concentration of KOH exhibited the best activityA series of CoOx/CeO2 catalysts prepared in Teflon-linde stainless-steel avtoclave using different concentration of KOH. The lowest concentration of KOH exhibited the best activity. In this preparation process, the influence of reaction temperature on the catalytic activity of the samples was studied. It was found that the sample prepared at 80℃exhibited the best activity due to the small particle size and good redox property.A series of CoOx/CeO2 catalysts were synthesized through solvothermal process and impregnation. CoOx/CeO2 synthesized in solvothermal process using CH3CH2OH , CH2OH-CH2OH and H2O as capping agents, exhibited the best activity.Deposition-precipitation method was used to prepare Au/CeO2 catalysts. The effect of preparation condition and support on the catalyst activity were investigated. The BET, X-ray diffraction and Temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) were carried out to analyze the factors about the catalytic activity. The results showed that the volum of KOH and the property of supports could affect the interaction between supports and gold species, which affected the catalytic activity.
