Carbon-carbon composite, which full name is Carbon fiber reinforced matrix composite materials, is a new kind of light weight, high temperature resistant materials being researched and developing in the field of the new materials. Its obvious advantages including: low density, excellent ablation resistant and high temperature mechanical property, good resistance to wear resistance and high strength and modulus. Carbon-carbon composite's excellent properties make it can be used as structural materials bearing load, and also play an important role as a functional materials. So it is rapidly apply to the filed of aviation and spaceflight.As the cage of high-speed operating aero engine spindle bearing, it must bear the impact roller add to holes and itself centrifugal force. According to the needs of the spaceflight development and the deficiency existing in cage materials, reflected in weak thermal conductivity, high density, friction coefficient and large abrasion loss, etc. So the research on carbon-carbon composites cage is of great significance.This paper based on the preparation process of carbon-carbon composite, Confirm the technical process of experimental material according to respective characteristics of each materials. This research selects Dong Li Japan carbon as body material. Making two kinds of prefabricated green body using fiber woven cloth and accurate 3D fiber acupuncture respectively. And then do densification processing using chemical vapor deposition alumetizing method and liquid immersion method. Through the carbonization and graphitization, finally got five kinds of carbon- carbon composites used in the experiment.Establish the mechanical model of aeroengine spindle bearing cage. Analyse dynamic characteristics and the stress between cage and other components. Study the impact that the operating mode parameter add to the force on the hole of cage and the working temperature.Do functional test to carbon-carbon composite. Get the directly relationship between hardness and density. Study the fracture behavior under the condition of impact through the impact experiment. Get tensile deformation regularity of composite materials based on the stress and strain curve get from experiment. Do rubbing wear experiment to each carbon-carbon composite material under variable load conditions in normal and high temperature, getting carbon-carbon composites have good performance characteristics like: low friction coefficient, high temperature, abrasion rate little, etc.Combine the analysis both the result of material experiments and statics and dynamic analysis of the cage. Select one type of carbon-carbon composites making air bearing. Do research on 276305 aviation bearing. Do simulation condition experiment under high revolving speed using existing test lab, assessing the excellent characteristic carbon-carbon composites as material of aviation bearing.
