A Research Of Three-way Catalyst Preparation Method And Characterization

As one of the most effective way of removing the pollution of automobile gas, Three-Way catalyst has now become the hot point of the environmental catalysis. This article deals with the composition of the catalysts and its catalysis principle .Several coefficients that may be affect its activity have been studied , such as material of support , preparation method, pro-processing method ,situations to be applied etc. Through the evaluation of the catalytic performance of catalysts , especially the reaction of CO and NO by comparing the results of T50% and T90%, the better way to make catalysts has been found out. Meanwhile , the surface characteristic and species are analyzed and studied comprehensively by SEM, XRD, and XPS. These tests showed the crystal form of A1203 the function of aid and the chemical form of Pd, proved the results of evaluation , initially clarified the mechanism of the different Three-Way catalytic activity and thermal stability.
