The prevalent municipal wastewater treatment technologies are compared here, which include conventional activated sludge method, oxidation ditch technology, AO process, A2O process, SBR method, UASB technology, biological contact oxidation process and new-typed CASS process. Abided by low energy-consumption, low maintaining expense and the integrated wastewater discharge standard, CASS process is selected here'to perform a modification with new-innovated aerator in place of fan and matched pipe.Flow-conducting aerator render gas phrase acquire great well whirly dispersion in liquid phase and form a great deal gas-liquid interface which enhances the efficiency of oxygen transfer and utilization.The micro-bubble spurting from flow-conducting aerator has the average diameter of 4mm, and is equably distributed in the basin in the course of floating up.Because the bubble from flow-conducting aerator is small and whirly, different to the large dispersing bubble from jetting aerator, the oxygen desire of flow-conducting aerator is only one third of jetting aerator with the same efficiency,The air resistance of flow-conducting aerator is obviously lower than micro-pore aerator and no clogging phenomenon occurs with a long downtime.At the depth of 4.7 meter in aeration basin the dynamic efficiency of flow-conducting aerator reaches 1.8 kgOAwh with oxygen utilization efficiency of 15-25%.Compared with conventional aerators, this equipment saves 25-^0% operation cost and 40-50% investment.
