Coinbiiied desulfiirization and denitration technology using highly active sorbents based on hydrated fly ash is presented in this paper. A statistical design technique was applied by use of a two-level factorial matrix to analyse the effects of sorbent preparation, highly active sorbents are prepared with some additives. The mechanism of desulfimriztion and denitration is studied by means of a fixed reactor. The duct injection experiment system is put up, and it is obtained 85% removal of S02 and 40% removal NOx at the optimum conditions. Flue gas circulating fltmidized bed technology is also discussed.
