The research trend of the herbicides containing fluorine, the advancement on the research of diaryl ether herbicides which are phosphorated are reviewed in this paper. The synthesis of a 梒hloroalkyl phosphonic(phosphinic) acids and their esters have been discussed. Sixteen new phosphonic acid derivatives have been designed and synthesized. These title compounds can be devided into three series according to their structures: I 0, O梔imethyl?a ?substituted phenoxy acetoxy)alkyl phosphonates (eight compounds) (CH30)2~H0CCH20 R REt, n桺r, Ph, m桸O2Ph X, Y=H, 3桟F? 2桸O~?桟F.. II O,0梔ialkyl?Q ?2梒hloro?梩rifluoromethylphenoxy phenylformyloxy acetoxy) alkyl phosphonates(three compounds) 0 00 IIII II Cl COCH2COCHP(OR)2 ___ I CF3 / R~Me, Et R?Et, n桺r IlL 0,0梔ialkyl?a ?2梒hloro?梩rifluoromethyl phenoxy phenylformyloxy) alkyl phosphonates (five compounds 00 II II COCHP(0R2 R CF3 iii MASTER S THESIS RMe, Ft R?=Et, Ph, m桸O2Ph, 2桭uryl The reaction conditions and the synthesis method of every kind were studied. The reason of forming III has been discussed in this paper. The molecular structures of all compounds were proved by IR~ 慔NMR and elemental analysis. Some of them were also characterized by ?C桸MR and MS. The herbicidal activity of all compounds were tested and the relationships of the structures and biological activities were discussed.
