| The photosensitive coatings as a kind of green coatings can be widely used in the areas of mechanics, electronics and photoreactive ink etc.. Compared with traditional coatings they have some advantages such as fast curing rate , no pollution, easy handling and saving energy etc..The main components of the photosensitive coatings system usually consist of photoreactive prepolymer (or photoreactive macromonomer), reactive diluents , photo-initiator, photo-sensitizer,and coupling reagent etc..In this paper , several photoreactive prepolymers were prepared from epoxy resin(E-51), epoxy soybean oil, acrylic acid, maleic anhydride and hydroxyethyl aery late. The synthetic conditions and effect factors were discussed. In addition, We also synthesized a kind of photoreactive prepolymers which are the block copolymers of unsaturated polyester and epoxy resin. Base upon these photoreactive prepolymers, several recipes of photosensitive coatings were investigated.The UV-curing process was monitored by IR and the UV-curing kinetics were determined by different photocalorimetry(DPC). The performances of the UV-cured films were tested.The experimental results showed that the photosensitive coatings mentioned above have following features: fast curing rate, good surface hardness and flexibility. They are useful as protecting coatings or primer coatings for wood and metal. |
